How to Make Dalle Khursani Pickle at Home

Here is a simple, traditional recipe for making Dalle Khursani (Akabare) pickle:

Ingredients:

  • 250g Akabare Khursani
  • 1/2 cup Mustard Oil
  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
  • Juice of 2 Lemons

Recipe:

  1. Heat the mustard oil in a pan and add the fenugreek seeds.
  2. Once they crackle, let the oil cool down completely.
  3. Wash and chop the Akabare chilis.
  4. In a clean, dry jar, mix the chilis, salt, lemon juice, and the cooled oil.
  5. Store in a cool, dry place. It will be ready to eat in a few days.
